This was on day 2 of the snow! Friday afternoon the roads were perfectly clear, so I drove around gathering a few shots. This photo was taken on I-35 in Lewisville.
Due to the large amount of snowfall on Thursday, I stayed in the immediate area of my apartment. I wonder what this little one was thinking.
School days...I think I'll have to try this shot again someday. It was a good thought, but didn't turn out like the image in my mind. Since I was so sure of it, unfortunately this set was all I took on this day so it had to do.
...a favorite song
Some call these chapstick, but the ones who really know call them smellies!
Church and grocery shopping during the Super Bowl...a must do! There are no crowds!
Some days are just not that exciting. This Friday evening was spent with cleaning supplies and laundry. I was proud of the finished product though when the guests arrived.
A laughter filled evening with beautiful women! Notice the two cut-ups in the back...all their doing, but I thought it added a little character to the frame!
Sweet moments in Readers' Workshop on the 99th day of school

Where I spend part of my Sundays...this is our new building. A retrofitted Albertson's store. It looks nothing like a grocery store on the inside.
Tappy's Yogurt! Yum!! Check it out!
This year is not only about learning to take better photographs, but also to explore the related software. Sometimes an image just needs a little boost to give it the final look.

This week's theme was "odd one out".
A view I see several times a day, 180 days a year
"The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun."~Carrie, Sex and the City
No matter what I tried today...it just didn't suit me. The sunset, keyboard, and Rebel XT. Nothing seemed to work. Since my fingers spend many hours in this location, it's still kind of fitting.
A super meal after work! Cheese fries, hamburger, and ice cold beverage with a friend. When I have a heart attack remind me of how good this tasted on a Friday night!
The theme this week was "clutter". This definitely qualifies as clutter, since I do not even have a device in my home or in my car that will play them. Why do I still hold on to these tapes? It just doesn't seem right to purchase Sylvia on itunes, if she's even there.
Can you guess this object?
This was a try at "Light Trails". Thanks to a tutorial, I was able to attempt the settings in Manual mode. It was pretty interesting. The image was actually created from the glow of a stereo display. I was amused!
